1.  Administrative Assistant with HR background (Southern California only)

We are looking for an energetic person with a background in Human Resources, who will have the ability to work effectively with all organizational levels within the company while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and honesty. This person needs to be extremely organized, able to prioritize, and mulit-task with a number of project managers. Must be willing to roll with the changes in a fast-paced environment and be extremely detailed in all job duties. 

Must have knowledge of all of  the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Accounting experience is a plus.

Knowledge of Accu-Build helpful, but not necessary.

2.  Project Manager Assistant

Position Qualifications and Requirements - High Voltage Electrical Construction and Testing Contractor wants PM with administrative background. A good understanding of email organization, excel, word and adobe are critical. Any scheduling project/P3, spectrum / financial, expedition/construction management, Visio / drafting software experience is a bonus. 

$32-40K Plus full benefits, bonus, 401K type retirement – Full Time. Room for growth  and salary increase.


3.  High Voltage Estimator/Salesman

Position Qualifications and Requirements - Experience in selling high voltage construction, maintenance, and testing.

4.  Electrical Project Manager wanted for growing union contractor. 

Position Qualifications and Requirements - Must be able to multitask, prioritize and interact with customers, vendors and field personnel in a very dynamic environment. Experience using Microsoft Office and Vision Infosoft computerized estimating software a must.

 •Solid knowledge or experience in - Primary & Secondary Voltage Systems/ Duct Banks & Underground Electrical Systems /Substations / Power Transmission / Utility/ and Building Electrical Systems

 •Manage the workload distribution and monitor the customer delivery and job installation progress.

 •Conduct electrical site meetings, deal with contractor(s) work progress, schedule reviews, and construction coordination, process monthly        payment requests

 •Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.

 •Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including but not limited to, the preparation of invoices, customer collections and periodic financial reporting to the customer and management.

 •Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.

 •Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).

 •Create, develop and implement account process improvement(s).

 •Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).

 •Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.

 •Must possess proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).

 •Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.

 •Must able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.

 •Must possess the ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.

 •Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

 •Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.

 •Must possess a minimum of two (2) years supervisory or managerial experience.

 •Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in construction field.

 •Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).

 •Must be proficient in NEC, Building & Construction Standards and Labor laws

 •Must meet Company minimum driving standards.

 •Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

 •Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.

 Degree in Construction Project Management a plus.


5.  Electrical Engineering or Electrical Service Work:

Position Responsibilities - Hampton Tedder; an electrical services & systems provider has an opening for a Lead Engineer-Service in our Arizona, California and Nevada office. This individual will be responsible for assigning and managing projects and must be recognized as a technical expert in the engineering field. The successful candidate will provide direction and leadership in acceptance testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, design, and modification of Low, Medium and High Voltage systems. The successful candidate will also have the capability to manage and enhance relationships with the current customer base. In addition, this individual will be instrumental in developing business opportunities through the assigned market area in industrial, utility, government, and institutional markets. The successful candidate will be a mature, experience individual who can plan and execute their responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Position Qualifications and Requirements - We are searching for an individual with a minimum or 7 to 10 years experience with a substantial part of that being in the electrical power distribution industry in servicing, maintaining, and testing electrical power distribution equipment. In addition, this experience should specifically include management criteria in the following areas:  Medium Voltage (600V to 38kV), starting up drives, IR Thermography/Photography, protective relays, switchgear, relays, arc flash, and breaker testing. Ideally, this individual will have experience with NETA testing as well.


6.  Electrical Design Engineer

Position Responsibilities - Protective device coordination study engineer, familiar with SKM software for commercial industrial and utility applications. P.E. preferred.


ON-GOING RECRUITMENT:

High Voltage Cable Splicer
Must be able to Hand-Tape Splice, “Inline” splices through 35kV; “Tee" Splices through 35kV; "Heat Shrink" Splices through 69kV. Also must be able to DC Hi-Pot test, Megger & TTR test.
Minimum Requirements: IBEW with certification on card & five yr. experience.

Electrical Test Technician
