Join a high-performing operations team supporting large-scale electric utility construction, transmission, distribution, and storm restoration work throughout Southern California.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Processor to join our talented team. Successful candidate will be required to work cohesively with field and office personnel in the processing of weekly in-house payroll.

This role works closely with field personnel, back office teams, management and accounting.

Job Requirements will include but are not limited to:

• Able to meet strict deadlines

• Be extremely detail oriented; this position is largely comprised of data entry

• Possess good organizational/document control

• Follow direction

• Self-motivated with a desire to learn

• Work well within a team and fast paced environment

• Maintain employee confidentiality and records

• Complete requests for Verifications Of Employment (VOE), garnishments, and court orders.

• Process certified payroll

• Assist with drug screen program; this would require candidate to become a DER and be placed on random drug screening

• Position requires ability to lift , bend, reach above shoulder level, climbing stairs, pulling, prolonged standing and/or sitting

Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of Payroll experience

• Accounting experience a plus

• Able to type 50+ WPM

• Intermediate working knowledge of Excel

Applicant must pass proficiency tests for typing and Excel before being considered for interview.

Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
